stopping the signin for microsoft family features.

My windows 10 home started popping up a sign-in into microsoft family features randomly even after closing out the window.

if you go to account family features and users it shows me as an adult not signed in and specifies a hotmail email address and not my company email address used to log into windows.

Some have said to disable this service microsoft family features but it doesn't show up.

So after some searching, one has to stop and "disable" the "parental controls" service. It will then stop this nuisance program.

Ok. I see that this application started occuring based on file date stamps around 5/16/2024.

Even after disabling parental controls, a popup still keeps showing up to sign into this feature. However, I've signed into all my microsoft accounts and nothing is assigned to the accounts family features area.

So, what I did was when it popped up, I went to task manager and saw the family featurs program running.
Do a properties on the running program, it shows, “C:\windows|SystemApps\ParentalControls_cw5n1h2txyewy folder .
Going to this folder, I see the only executable is, “WpcUapApp.exe” however, some of the files it uses are from around 2019.

I'm surprised that this app like "teams" isn't in the startup config area whereby I could use ccleaner to disable it from startup.

Thus, I'm stuck right now on changing the permissions on this folder and its files so that I can either remove this folder and its contents, so this popup is permanently removed, or rename the folder to something that windows 10 on startup will ignore.
I could just rename "WpcUapApp.exe" to "WpcUapApp.exe.bak" so the folder remains, but windows 10 wouldn't be able to execute anything assuming it doesn't try to restore it back.....

Question: For this folder what would be the commands to do to change this folders permissions so I can rename the executable to ".bak"? Should I want to reactivate it for some reason, I'd still have this directory and its contents and would only need to rename by removing the ".bak" extension. along with restoring any of the changed permissions on the folder and files.
Note: I am the windows 10 administrator.

I'm not an expert on changing file permissions around at the admin command prompt or within file manager.....
Once I rename the file to ".bak" I could change the permissions back tot he original values.
