Location of opened folder and files

    Hi,

I have many File Explorer/Folder/Software/Files (docx/xlsx/pdf/txt) opened. How to copy all path locations of them so I can remember reopen them after I restart windows 10?

After I restart windows 10, I want to open everything to be the same like before I restart. For now, before I restart I need to waste time typing what are opened in a notepad or do screenshot so I can remember what items are opened.

    Thanks

    Hi, you could:

    1. Hibernate (resuming -> PC exactly as was). This is also a power down state- you can switch off completely.

    or
    2. Try this, noting the limitation:

Turn On or Off Automatically Restart Apps after Sign In in Windows 10

There's a feature that can achieve some of that, but not all. You can go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in options. Scroll down a bit and you will see the option "Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in". Turn that on. The reason I said some, but not all, is because this is not working for all apps. Mostly just Microsoft apps.
    3. Browsers usually have a setting that allows you to restore the previous session. I find this annoying though.
