Are you seeing anything on the screen? I had similar symptoms on my Dell laptop due to a part broken hings placing strain on the GPU cable which disconnected the GPU cable.

Nope, nothing on screen. There isn't any activities happening on this computer, only power led is on.

    Tried it, the same behavior.

I think there again will be motherboard issues as all of the time with computers, which one day stops working.

Have you considered a broken disc?
I've never had Dell Latitude e5470 in my hands but if it's not too difficult try to (just temporarily) replace it.

Yes, already checked where CMOS placed. All computer should be disassembled. For now, we put it back to warehouse. When will have more free time, will try to replace CMOS battery.
Thanks for suggestions, will close this thread now.

sorry to ressurect old thread but I'm having this same exact problem. dell latitude e5470 refurbished, bought 3 months ago and left in my closet since it arrived. tried turning it on today for the first time to install windows onto it and ran into this exact issue. Power button turns on when connected to the charger, and nothing else happens. Screen is off. Did you ever find a solution?
