How to Remove the Ads from the Search box - See image for details

How can I remove all this junk from the Windows Search box?
When click on the Windows Search box, I get this as shown from the image.

Is there a way to remove this FOR ALL ACCOUNTS?

I assume you have the news feed there?

I haven't seen that in a long time. Checkout openshell and other taskbar changing things like Startisback. I am using Startisback
and even without it via Winareo the news feed is disabled.

That junk, is called "Search Highlights". And yes... it was another less than stellar idea from MS.

Use Option #4, here, to remove it for ALL Users.

Enable or Disable Search Highlights in Windows 10

    Haven't heard of that yet.

They do have lots of free, stripped down versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I would consider them for experimentation only. I wouldn't run them on your main system.

Has Microsoft free stripped down windows version?
where do they have that download page?

I would not pay a cent for a windows license if there is ads in the OS..
all payed software is ads free, as far as i know anyway. Windows seems to be the only exception of that rule.

No... they're not from Microsoft, they are from 3rd parties.

Just Google: trimmed down version of Windows 10

They are versions of Windows 10 and 11... that have all the bloatware removed.

okay.. I dont download ISO's from unknown sources, but thanks anyway.
Hacked OS's can have all kind of shady stuff in it..

and if they just debloated ISO, but still require a license, then i can do it myself. :-D
is the ads = free license
    and
    no ads = payed license

if i dont have to pay, then i can live with some ads.

As I mentioned above... I'm not recommending them. I'm just letting you know they exist.
